Creation of a small-batch olive oil brand, iki kaya, with a deep connection to the Aegean land where it comes from. Iki kaya tells the story of our connection to these ancient Aegean trees, the traditions of the local people, and the process of picking, pressing and making olive oil.
Bewa Studio has done the branding design for iki kaya - a small-batch brand producing organic, cold-pressed virgin olive oil from hand-picked olives grown on family-owned groves in the Turkish Aegean. Rooted in care and tradition, it celebrates a deep connection to the land and the enduring spirit of ancient olive trees.
Every autumn the ripe olives are shaken from the trees onto large nets laid across the ground and gathered up and collected into crates. On the same day of picking, the crates are taken to the local olive oil mill and are pressed into a golden oil. After sitting for two weeks two settle the olive oil is poured into bottles and ready to use.
